CEX | FILM PARODIES

Don’t mess around with your old Tech, trade it in for cash…

Miniatures, old tech, cool set design, action-packed scenes and fantastic acting.

Yep. It’s The Berry’s latest campaign for CeX.

The Berry, in collaboration with Strange Thoughts, have crafted a fun and unique series of parodies for CeX (Computer Exchange), that will transport you to iconic scenes from your favourite movies and TV shows.

The Berry brought tech to life with these playful and action-packed films. Puppeteering and intentional, low-budget filmmaking methods, were combined together; creating a cheeky and fun content style. Directed by The Berry Boys and starring voice performances by comedian and impressionist Scheiffer Bates.

The project blended miniature sets, CGI, VFX, and practical effects, that recreate iconic scenes from Spider-Man, Squid Game, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, and Lord of the Rings. The films explore the idea of, not messing around with your old tech… but instead; trading them in. For cash.

SPIDERMAN | DON’T TEXT AND SWING

STAR WARS | AT-AT WALKER

JURASSIC PARK | P-REX

STAR WARS | TRENCH RUN

SQUID GAME | TUG OF WAR

LORD OF THE RINGS | MY PRECIOUS

SUPER MARIO | POWER UP

SQUID GAME | RED LIGHT

Each film brings to life an iconic scene...

You’ll find explosive action from a galaxy far far away… dynamic web swinging through NYC… and there’s even Super Mario power-ups! Viewers experience tongue in cheek filmmaking, that incentivise the trade in process of your old tech, at CeX.
