BIC | INFLUENCER CAMPAIGNS

BIC’s most vibrant and imaginative global campaign yet…

Celebrating creativity through colour, VFX, personality, and culture across continents.

BIC approached The Berry with a clear creative ambition: ‘Free Your Creative Spark’. The task was to launch the new BIC Intensity Paint Marker, a bold and ultra-versatile marker that works on almost any surface. The Berry delivered a visually rich, VFX-fueled European influencer campaign, supercharged by viral CGI stunt activations and distributed across key European markets.

Expanding the colour story to Mexico…

The campaign even extended to Mexico, where The Berry teamed up with popular lifestyle influencer Tammy Parra.

Across two vibrant, playful films, Tammy showcased the BIC Intensity Paint Marker alongside BIC's pens and pencil range.

The films follow Tammy as she playfully manifests her dream personas, from a fearless luchadora (Mexican wrestler) to an international superstar DJ, all brought to life through, vibrant visuals, VFX, CGI, and colourful set design.

VFX-fueled influencer content bringing the product to life.

To unlock the idea of unleashing creativity, The Berry developed a series of social-first influencer films that blended genuine product use with playful visual effects and bold storytelling. Each film was grounded in the real passions of the featured talent, from pro skateboarder Aurelien Giraud and artist Sophie Tea to chef Alex Chia, Olympic break-dancer Carlotta Dudek and Mexican lifestyle influencer Tammy Parra. The BIC products weren’t just showcased; they became part of the creative process in a way that felt authentic and fun.

Used like it should be…

No matter how imaginative the visuals became, The Berry ensured that the BIC products stayed center stage. For the paint markers each film was built around authentic, surface-specific usage: Sophie on ceramics, Aurelien on wood, Carlotta on fabric, Tammy on appliances and Alex on everything from paper to chalkboard to timber. These practical applications made the product feel real, versatile and essential, never just a prop.

Supercharging the campaign through viral VFX marketing.

To amplify reach and social buzz, The Berry created a supporting viral stunt series that dropped giant BIC products into everyday life. Shot in a phone-filmed, UGC style, the VFX scenes showed off spectacular displays across London, Paris, Barcelona and Mexico. Designed to look caught-in-the-moment and shareable, these clips helped drive visibility beyond the influencer network and into culture, generating organic reach and sparking conversation.

Meet your marker…

BIC Intensity Paint Markers deliver bold colour instantly, no shaking or pumping needed. Made with 98% recycled materials (excluding the ink system), they feature non-toxic, water-based ink and a versatile medium nib.

They work on almost any surface from fabric and glass to wood, stone and plastic and stay vibrant on both light and dark materials, indoors or out.

Behind the magic…

Behind all the on-screen magic was a hands-on creative team making it happen. The Berry crew teamed up with UK artist and influencer Milly Greer to bring the Paint Marker illustrations to life across every scene.

From flying across Europe to shoot with each influencer, to illustrating on the fly, the process was fast-paced and deeply collaborative.

Whether it was hand-painting vegetables on chopping boards, sketching bold designs onto fabric, or creating skatepark murals, every illustration was real, created on set using only BIC Intensity Paint Markers… No cheats, no shortcuts, just pure creative spark!

The outcome?

Launched across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, the campaign combined high-end influencer films with viral CGI stunt content, earning engagement and reaching millions of organic views across multiple platforms. The Berry brought together performance, personality and product in a campaign that did exactly what it set out to do… ‘unleash creativity’.

The visual effects

The Berry team had a blast crafting a variety of vibrant VFX and CGI moments across the films, from oversized ceramic sculptures and bouncing vegetables to fully CGI products and buses. We also used some clever in-camera trickery to make objects appear as if they were popping out of artwork, thanks to some invisible helping hands. All 3D animation was created in Cinema 4D and rendered using Redshift.
