NER & ADIDAS | THIRD KIT

LOUD. PROUD. UNAPOLOGETICALLY RETRO.

The Berry partnered with MLS team, New England Revolution, to reveal their latest 90’s inspired kit for the ‘25 season. Working with The Berry Boys and Andy Daly (directors) the production team planned and executed a stand-out launch film, that combined players, 90s inspired props, archive footage, CGI and VFX!

New England Revolution dropped “The ‘96” – a throwback third kit born from the adidas x MLS Archive Collection – and it’s a certified nostalgia hit. The Revs are leaning all the way into their ‘90s roots.

The Archive Collection celebrates the technicolour tapestry of late-‘90s and early-2000s MLS, tapping into the era’s visual swagger – think bold gradients, oversized wordmarks, and front-facing numbers that scream ESPN Classic. For New England, that means resurrecting the club’s original identity from its inaugural 1996 campaign and giving it a 2025 twist.

On top of the main Kit Launch, The Berry created a viral VFX (FOOH) video that saw the third kit draped in NER’s home town of Boston, New England. The kit featured at the TOP of the Prudential Tower!
